You will join an established business with a strong focus on customer service, commercial growth, and exceeding customer expectations.

Your new role

As Sales Coordinator, you will support the growth of the business by converting customer enquiries and quotations into confirmed orders. Managing customers from initial enquiry through to delivery, you will ensure every opportunity is followed up professionally and commercially. You will proactively contact customers regarding outstanding quotations, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and pass qualified leads to the wider sales and business development teams. You will build strong customer relationships, develop your understanding of their requirements, and help increase repeat business. Alongside this, you will accurately process quotations and orders, respond to customer queries, and work closely with sales, warehouse, logistics, finance, and purchasing teams to deliver a seamless service.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience within sales support, internal sales, customer service, or order processing. You will be confident speaking with customers over the telephone, following up opportunities, and influencing purchasing decisions. You will be commercially aware, target-driven, and motivated by converting enquiries into sales. Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft applications would be beneficial. Knowledge of the plumbing or a related technical industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
