Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at our King’s Lynn location. The Sales Executive will:

  • Welcome and engage customers in the showroom
  • Understand their needs
  • Guide them through the vehicle selection process

  • Presenting vehicles and features
  • Arranging test drives
  • Preparing accurate quotations
  • Managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to handover

The role involves:

  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
  • Following up on leads via phone, email, and in person
  • Using internal systems to record customer interactions and sales activity

The Sales Executive will collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, finance, and aftersales to ensure a seamless customer experience and support ongoing business growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive retail or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly in person and in writing.
  • Comfort with using CRM and dealership management systems, as well as basic proficiency with common office software.
  • Solid negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on ethical selling and meeting customer needs.
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.
  • Valid driver’s license and confidence in conducting test drives with customers.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods, as required in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, automotive products and the brands represented by Holden Group.
  • Secondary education completion required; further education or sales training is an advantage.
