Role Description

The Sales Executive role at Carsa is a full-time, on-site position based in Gloucester. In this role, the Sales Executive engages with customers in person, by phone, and through digital inquiries to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options. The Sales Executive maintains up-to-date product knowledge, follows company sales processes, and uses CRM systems to track leads, follow-ups, and completed sales. This position also involves:

  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet sales targets
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service
  • Supporting promotional activities within the store

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service, relationship-building, and consultation skills focused on understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with experience working toward individual or team targets in a retail or automotive environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or financial information in an accessible way.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, email, and basic office software to manage leads, document interactions, and prepare sales paperwork.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bolton, including weekend or shift work as needed, and maintain a professional, approachable presence in the showroom.
  • Prior experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or a similar customer-facing role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of vehicle features, finance products, and insurance options is an advantage and willingness to learn is essential.
  • Valid UK driving license and the ability to conduct safe and confident test drives with customers.
