Merchandise Sales Executive

Location: Surrey
Hybrid Working
£40,000 - £45,000 + Commission

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Merchandise Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping clients find creative branded merchandise solutions that support their marketing and promotional objectives.

Working across a variety of sectors, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service while achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through telephone, email, social media, and networking activities.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Arrange and conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with decision-makers.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, identifying new opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Use product knowledge to recommend effective branded merchandise solutions.
  • Deliver against agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Support presentations, client pitches, and business development initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline development, and revenue growth.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a confident and motivated sales professional with a passion for building relationships and delivering results.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Experience presenting and pitching solutions to clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable engaging with clients at all levels.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
