Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Shrewsbury. The Sales Executive is responsible for engaging with customers in the showroom, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable vehicle options across Renault and Dacia ranges. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Conducting test drives
  • Preparing and explaining quotations and finance options
  • Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to handover
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system

The role also involves:

  • Following up leads
  • Supporting promotional campaigns
  • Coordinating with service and finance teams
  • Ensuring that brand standards and customer experience expectations are consistently met

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience in automotive or a similar customer-facing environment, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including accurate record-keeping and follow-up on leads.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and CRM systems to manage enquiries, appointments, and customer information.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct safe, professional test drives.
  • Customer-focused mindset, high level of professionalism, and commitment to upholding brand standards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Shrewsbury, including weekends and peak trading hours as required.
  • Previous experience in franchised dealerships and knowledge of Renault or Dacia brands is an advantage.
