Event Sales Executive
c£30k + uncapped commission (£15k + OTE)
Central London – Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Are you early in your event sales career, perhaps starting out in delegate sales or with some exposure to exhibition or sponsorship sales, but already feeling limited in your progression? If you’re excited to join a business that will invest in your career, give you the tools to succeed and the autonomy to achieve, this could be exactly the opportunity you’re looking for.
We’re working with an ambitious start up in the events and training sector, on the hunt of their next sales hire to join an already high performing team, working alongside experienced leadership with clear and achievable growth plans.
The Role
- Full 360 sales role, from prospecting through to close, winning new business and building long term relationships.
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship and training packages to c-suite decision makers primarily in event technology, live events, marketing and creative space.
- Pitching bespoke packages for your clients, understanding their needs and proposing solutions that genuinely add value.
- Attending the event and being proactive with rebooking’s on the day for the following year.
- Immerse yourself in the sector, to become an expert in the solutions you offer and why your clients should invest in attending the event and signing up to be a part of the programme.
- Working closely with the Sales Director and Founder to develop pricing and terms, learning from them to further enhance your skillset and knowledge.
- Work to targets, with the mindset of overachieving – there is an uncapped commission structure, so all to play for!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
