Role Description

Sales Executives at Wilsons Epsom work full time on-site in Epsom, engaging directly with customers in the showroom and forecourt. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

  • Preparing accurate quotations
  • Handling paperwork
  • Coordinating with finance and administration teams to ensure smooth and compliant transactions
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge across all brands, including electric and Motability offerings
  • Following up on leads and enquiries
  • Using CRM systems to manage prospects

Sales Executives contribute to showroom standards, participate in promotional events, and consistently deliver a professional, customer-focused experience that supports sales targets and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales and customer service skills, with experience in retail or automotive sales highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
  • Confidence in presenting products and explaining finance, leasing, and Motability options in a clear and compliant manner.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple customers and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with using CRM systems, email, and basic office software to manage leads, appointments, and documentation.
  • Interest in the automotive sector, including modern vehicle technology and electric vehicles; prior brand or product knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dealership team, while taking personal responsibility for meeting targets and delivering excellent service.
  • Willingness to work showroom hours, including weekends and peak trading times as required.
  • Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) suitable for test drives and vehicle movements.
