Marc Daniels are recruiting for a highly commercial Sales Finance Business Partner to join a market-leading SaaS company. This is a key role within the finance team, partnering closely with Sales, Commercial and operational leaders to drive profitable revenue growth, improve sales performance, and support better commercial decision-making.
The Role
As a Sales Finance Business Partner, you will provide insight, challenge, and financial support across the sales organization. You will help turn pipeline, customer, and pricing data into clear actions that improve revenue, margin, and overall commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with Sales and Commercial leadership teams to support revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Leading sales performance reviews, providing clear insight on revenue, pipeline, conversion, pricing, and profitability.
- Supporting the forecasting and budgeting process, with a particular focus on sales performance, customer demand, and commercial opportunities.
- Reviewing sales pipeline activity and providing challenge around conversion assumptions, timing, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyzing customer, product, and channel profitability to identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve margin.
- Supporting pricing decisions, commercial proposals, tenders, renewals, and contract negotiations.
- Building robust financial models and investment cases for new business opportunities, customer deals, and strategic initiatives.
- Working with Sales teams to ensure commercial activity is aligned to financial targets and forecast commitments.
- Identifying revenue leakage, cost-to-serve issues, and opportunities to improve commercial returns.
- Providing scenario analysis to support key commercial decisions, including pricing, investment, customer retention, and growth initiatives.
- Developing reporting and dashboards that give Sales leaders a clear view of performance and priorities.
- Working closely with wider Finance, FP&A, and Operations teams to ensure a consistent view of performance and forecast delivery.
- Supporting continuous improvement across reporting, processes, systems, and data quality.

You Will Ideally Have:

- Experience in commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or finance business partnering.
- A strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, pricing, sales pipeline, and customer profitability.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Commercial, Account Management, or Operational teams.
- Strong forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and scenario-planning skills.
- The ability to simplify complex data into practical and actionable insight.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting tools and finance systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive actions through to completion.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent finance qualification is desirable.
