About Emerge
Emerge helps businesses move and manage their goods around the world. We cover everything from international freight forwarding and transport through to warehousing, storage and fulfilment. We work closely with our customers to make their supply chains simpler, more efficient and more reliable. By bringing freight, logistics and warehousing together, we help customers reduce costs, solve problems and keep their goods moving.
The Role
We’re looking for a Sales Freight Account Manager to join our team in the Manchester area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customers, build strong relationships and look for ways to grow the business. You’ll be the link between our customers, sales teams and operations teams, making sure we deliver what we’ve promised and are always looking for ways to do things better. You’ll manage the day-to-day relationship with your customers, but you’ll also need to think beyond the next shipment. The role is about understanding how each customer operates, where they’re heading and where we can add more value.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
