Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Host to join our team in Swindon. In this dynamic role, you'll be the welcoming face of our organization, creating positive first impressions while driving sales and member engagement. As a Sales Host, you'll combine exceptional hospitality with a results-oriented approach, supporting our business objectives while delivering outstanding service to every guest and member who walks through our doors.
- Welcome members and guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, ensuring every interaction sets a positive tone for their experience
- Drive membership sales and retention by providing knowledgeable guidance and promoting our products and services with confidence and enthusiasm
- Support secondary spend KPIs by actively recommending and promoting available offerings, demonstrating a clear understanding of their value
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, contributing to a welcoming environment
- Perform key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, with attention to detail and organizational efficiency
- Manage administrative duties with proficiency, including membership software systems and point-of-sale transactions
- Stay informed about current programs, challenges, and initiatives, actively participating to authentically promote member engagement
- Collaborate with team members and management to support operational initiatives and deliver consistent service excellence
- Handle member feedback and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues appropriately and transparently
- Actively experience and engage with our products and services, enabling you to provide confident, informed recommendations to members

Qualifications
- Outgoing, positive personality with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Proven sales ability with a goal-oriented mindset and drive to achieve membership and retention targets
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency with membership management systems and software platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, comfortable with varied shifts and operational responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and resilience when facing challenges
- Collaborative team player with a supportive attitude toward colleagues and management
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, or the service industry, with enthusiasm for learning about our offerings
- Ability to work independently as a key holder while maintaining accountability and transparency
- Inclusive mindset with empathy and the ability to connect with people from all backgrounds
- Previous experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or membership software is advantageous but not required
