We’re on the hunt for some real talent in the FMCG space who reside in the North West and can commute into South Manchester. A talented Sales/ Account Manager who understands the lay of the land within Food Service (HORECA specifically) and someone who is ready to set the agenda themselves and carve the way forward for a scale-up FMCG Brand who is on a mission to educate and provide a genuine alternative to how things have always been done! They’re already fairly well established and have ensured their growth in a very profitable way now looking to double in size of the next 5 years so a very exciting time to join!
This is a premium F&B Brand who are Manchester based and will see you on a journey of education and value based selling offering a genuine alternative to allow your customers to stand out and offer something refreshingly different to their customer base.
To succeed here you need to be able to demonstrate you can think differently. You push for more, ask why and question what is considered the norm working closely with your team of two!

This role will see you responsible for:
- Working with the founders to create and execute Food Service channel strategy playing your own part with customers as well as delivering through your team of two.
- Educating End User customers (primarily independent outlets) enabling them to offer a genuine alternative to all the big branded players out there.
- New business development – research and proactively target suitable partners.
- Spending time with key end users promoting the brand.
- Presenting to an excellent standard to generate new business providing a service second to none.
What we’re looking for in skill set and character:
- Demonstrable experience in operating within B2B sales and value based selling (Experience within Food Service, Contract Caterers, or within the HORECA channel would be advantageous)
- You’ll be full of energy, excited about the prospect of working for a young brand who are on a journey to do things differently.
- You will display a proactive nature, capable of making things happen and you’re someone who thrives in an environment where you can take real accountability and ownership.
- New business will excite you, strategizing will excite you and able to set your own direction.
- You’re a natural leader and capable of guiding, supporting and challenging a team of two to deliver the service and sales required.
