B2B Sales Lead — Betting & Gaming

Press Box PR | Manchester/London (hybrid)

About Press Box PR

Press Box PR is an award-winning, high-growth Digital PR agency with specialist experience in the betting industry and adjacent sectors. We provide PR services to B2B and B2C clients globally, including operators, affiliates, suppliers, and many more.

The Opportunity

Press Box PR is seeking a B2B Sales Lead with experience in the betting and gaming sector to unlock our next phase of growth. We're looking for a sales professional with a demonstrable track record of identifying and closing new business for our proven, market-leading services including PR, corporate communications, content marketing, and AI visibility in the industry.

You'll bring strategic experience creating and executing your own sales plans, and identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

We're also keen to hear from candidates who sell successfully through relationships and networks across the betting and gaming ecosystem, for example, suppliers including and not limited to payment solutions, technology and product providers, game studios, and media rights holders.

You should be comfortable listening to and consulting with prospects as you sell — qualifying and nurturing leads is central to the role. We're interested in candidates with experience selling to senior decision-makers, founders and owners as well as leadership in marketing, performance, sales, product, PR, and communications.

Industry knowledge, expertise, and credibility matter more here than direct experience selling B2B PR services as the key experience is a track record of generating new sales. An ability to cultivate relationships directly, and experience working with a network of contacts at decision-maker level, is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role would suit a highly motivated sales professional ready to take ownership of their own sales strategy, targets, and reward, and could suit someone looking to make the next step in their career as the successful candidate would be the most senior dedicated sales lead in the team.

The successful candidate will be given an extensive entertainment and enablement budget ensuring they have the tools and support required to succeed.

What You'll Get

You'll have the support and resources to be visible in your sector, backed by dedicated marketing, account management, and subject-matter expertise to help you close and deliver business successfully. You'll work alongside our key account, Digital PR, creative, and media relations teams, providing a great opportunity to learn about our products and business, so no direct experience selling these services is required, but deep immersion and integration into the business is essential.

You'll be expected to identify and close business independently, handing over to account teams for long-term management, while getting the chance to work alongside experienced department heads, as well as Press Box PR's founder and executive team.

Location & Ways of Working

Our head office and B2C team are based in Barbican, London; our B2B team is based primarily in Manchester, with regular travel to other locations. This role is hybrid, with travel to pitches, meetings, and industry events and conferences (UK and international), and regular collaboration with colleagues across our offices. The successful candidate will be working away from home on a regular basis.
