Flat Rock Technology is a global technology and business services partner, helping organisations scale through bespoke software development, digital transformation and flexible staff augmentation solutions. We provide highly skilled professionals across software engineering, AI, cloud and DevOps, as well as customer support, customer success, e-commerce, back-office operations and other specialist business functions. Whether clients need a dedicated delivery team, individual experts or end-to-end project delivery, we help them build high-performing teams that accelerate growth and deliver lasting business value.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on sales leader who loves building businesses, not just managing a team.

This is not a role where you'll inherit a large team or spend your days in meetings reviewing dashboards. Initially, you will be responsible for generating your own opportunities, winning new clients and proving what great sales looks like. As the business grows, you will recruit, develop and lead a high-performing sales team.

If you're someone who enjoys building a sales function from the ground up, creating processes, leading by example and isn't afraid to pick up the phone every day, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of our commercial organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting through to close.
  • Generate outbound opportunities through calls, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and targeted outreach.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision makers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You enjoy creating structure from ambiguity, thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited by the opportunity to leave your mark on a growing business.
