Role overview

The role of Sales Lead Coordinator is pivotal to business operations, liaising between engineers, the sales division and the Lead Generation Coach in order to maximise and capitalise on every sales opportunity. Working as part of a fast paced, busy and energetic team, the role contributes directly to the overall sales performance of the business.

Key tasks

  • Taking inbound calls from Engineers and allocating these enquiries to the correct Business Development Executive / Department.
  • Outbound calls to gain additional information
  • Processing engineer leads and allocating to the correct BDE.
  • Building rapport with our engineers across all divisions and regions
  • Managing multiple email inboxes for lead submission
  • Problem solving throughout daily tasks
  • Creating new customer records in line with company GDPR and data integrity
  • Updating customer details on sales records bringing them in to line with company data integrity
  • Providing admin support to the sales team (ad hoc)
  • Managing queries between the engineer field and sales teams
  • Assist Lead Generation Coach with lead development

Service Delivery

  • Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role
  • Ensuring you set a culture of excellent customer service ensuring the basics are right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance
  • Work collaboratively with teams in Operations to ensure that sales and service SLAs are delivered

Managing Risk

  • Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your role
  • Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business

Managing Health & Safety

  • Ensuring you deliver your role within the Compliance framework set.

Criteria

Essential (attributes required for candidate to be considered)

  • Preferably a good understanding of Pivotal/SMART
  • Organised
  • Business and product knowledge

Desirable (attributes can be trained or developed)

  • Experience (what you have done)
  • Experienced in administrative work
  • Sales support experience

Personal qualities (the way you think and act)

  • Confidence in making decisions and using initiative in daily tasks
  • Personable and resilient when dealing with queries from engineers
  • Keen to learn more and gain a further understanding of the sales process
