Sales Lead – Microsoft Ecosystem

Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid working

Hours: Full-time

Salary: Competitive salary + commission/bonus structure

About the opportunity

We’re working with a growing Microsoft Solutions Partner that is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Lead to support the continued growth of its Microsoft-focused sales function.

This is a senior, hands-on position for someone who enjoys winning new business, building relationships and taking complex opportunities from initial engagement through to close.

You’ll play a key role in driving growth across the Microsoft ecosystem, working closely with clients, Microsoft stakeholders, referral partners and internal technical teams.

The role

As Sales Lead, you’ll be responsible for owning and delivering a new business revenue target, building a strong sales pipeline and converting opportunities into high-value client engagements.

The role will focus particularly on:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC)
  • Microsoft Power Platform

You’ll work closely with pre-sales solution architects, technical consultants and delivery teams to understand client requirements, shape compelling solutions and demonstrate the commercial value of the technology.

A key part of the role will also be developing strong relationships across the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Microsoft sales/SMC teams, as well as referral partners and MSPs.

Key responsibilities

Driving revenue & pipeline

  • Own and deliver an agreed new business revenue target
  • Take accountability for pipeline creation, management and conversion
  • Generate high-quality opportunities through Microsoft channels, events, networking, partner referrals and direct outreach
  • Build, manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Provide accurate forecasting and maintain strong pipeline discipline
  • Develop and nurture relationships across Microsoft and referral partner networks
  • Identify opportunities for joint selling and co-sell activity
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Microsoft priorities, funding programmes and go-to-market initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
