Sales Leader - Europe

As our new Sales Leader, you’ll lead our European sales organisation, setting the direction and driving our sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth in volume, margin and market share. You’ll lead, develop and inspire our regional sales teams, build strong customer relationships and ensure a consistent, focused approach to sales across Europe.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our European sales organisation, working closely with colleagues across the business to identify new opportunities, grow our customer base and maximise commercial performance. This is an opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse European market, bringing people together around a shared sales strategy and helping to shape the future growth of Scott Bader.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the European sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth in volume, revenue, margin and market share.
  • Lead, develop and inspire the European sales organisation, building a high-performance culture and future commercial capability.
  • Strengthen strategic customer and distributor relationships, optimising routes to market and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Drive commercial excellence through effective pricing, forecasting, pipeline management and data-led performance reviews.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Technical, Product Management and Finance to deliver profitable growth across Europe.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven senior sales or business development experience with a strong track record of delivering profitable growth and winning new business.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and develop new markets, customers, applications and growth opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with experience leading and developing sales teams across multiple markets or countries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage customers and stakeholders at all levels across Europe.
  • Analytical and commercially focused, with the ability to use market, customer and performance data to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Experience within the chemicals, materials, manufacturing or speciality products sector is a bonus.
