THE ROLE:

We are looking for an energetic, bright, and self-motivated Sales Leader with a history of high performance in sales and business development, to lead the execution of our growth strategy in the Projects sector in the UK & Nordics. The candidate will ensure the development of systems and products of the Praesidiad brands in the Projects & Verticals and execute a go-to-market and sales strategy in line with the overall company strategy. The successful candidate will possess talent for selling and business development in a complex environment, reacts with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and will be able to build effective working relationships inside and outside the Group.

The role is located in the United Kingdom. The role will report to Sales Director - Projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and/or exceed personal annual revenue targets for your region in line with budget and plan whilst maintaining appropriate margins.
  • Develop brand awareness and the specifying activity with major players (Architects, Engineering consultants, etc.) and key end users from the defined strategic vertical segments: Data Centres, Power Transmission Stations, Military.
  • Direct commercial responsibility and animation of the installers and integrators network.
  • Develop a network of local partners: technology partners (detection, video surveillance), service partners (maintenance, project management).
  • Identify market opportunities to enhance revenues in the region by gaining exposure, specification of Praesidiad brands, and market share within the region.
  • Develop our knowledge and expertise of the market: map the key players, define the go-to-market strategy for key accounts and key projects.
  • Establish strong relationships throughout the value chains: end customers, governing bodies, installers, OEM’s, converters, and distributors.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities which align with the defined Praesidiad portfolio offerings that have been identified as presenting a key point of differentiation and addressing a value to the customer.
  • Analyse the sales results, micro-economical surrounding, and partner with the marketing team to drive targeted marketing initiatives and sales actions that deliver results.
  • Build deep knowledge of the competitive environment; trends, products, technologies, regulations, and competitors.
  • Be fully involved in sales excellence methodology (prepare territory plans, report and manage activities and pipeline in CRM).

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, experience, and general skills

  • +5 years’ experience within a commercial function.
  • A track record within the Project sales in Energy/Transportation/Defense and/or High Security Segment with clear knowledge of the market, technologies, players, and channels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or related field required.
  • Ability to operate within a matrix organization, leading through strategy and influence.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-regional projects or initiatives.
  • Strong experience negotiating and managing large/major contracts.
  • Advanced business and financial acumen needed.
  • Experience in planning & forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration.
  • Able to foster new business ventures. This will require excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Previous experience working internationally preferred.
  • Experience with CRM.
