Sales Leader – Retail Sector

We are looking for an experienced Retail Sector Sales Leader to join a growing consulting and technology organisation at a pivotal stage of its growth journey.

Following significant investment, new senior leadership appointments and continued expansion of its global delivery capability, the business is scaling from a successful specialist consultancy into a broader, enterprise-grade transformation partner.

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on accelerating new logo acquisition across the UK and European Retail market, building strategic relationships and securing larger, multi-year transformation engagements.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will take ownership of the end-to-end new business sales lifecycle across the Retail sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive net new logo acquisition across UK and European Retail markets
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of strategic opportunities
  • Develop direct relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
  • Identify, shape and close complex digital, technology and commerce transformation opportunities
  • Target larger, multi-year, multi-million-pound engagements
  • Own the full sales lifecycle from origination and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close
  • Position the organisation as a strategic transformation partner rather than a tactical services provider
  • Work closely with delivery, consulting, marketing and account leadership teams to shape compelling client propositions
  • Strengthen market presence and senior-level commercial engagement across the Retail sector

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
