Sales Learning Manager

The Sales Learning Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and facilitating sales learning programs that build seller capability and drive measurable business performance. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Product Marketing, and HR to identify capability gaps, translate business priorities into learning solutions, and deliver scalable programs across the global sales organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design and adult learning expertise with excellent program management and business acumen. You can move seamlessly between identifying and assessing need, hands-on learning design, stakeholder alignment, facilitation, and measurement of program effectiveness.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the full lifecycle of sales learning programs—from needs analysis and design through launch, reinforcement, measurement, and iteration.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and stakeholders to identify performance gaps and recommend the right learning, coaching, process, tools, or other interventions.
  • Design and develop engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles, blended learning, microlearning, practice, reinforcement, and application-based methodologies.
  • Build scalable programs across sales onboarding, methodology and selling skills, product knowledge, sales leadership development, and ongoing seller professional development.
  • Develop high-quality learning assets, including facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, practice activities, and reinforcement plans.
  • Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously, including project plans, timelines, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and communications.
  • Facilitate in-person, instructor-led, and virtual learning sessions.
  • Partner with sales managers to embed learning into ongoing coaching and performance management.
  • Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectiveness through participation, knowledge/skill application, behavioral change, and business impact.
  • Use learner and stakeholder feedback, performance data, and program results to continuously improve programs.
  • Coordinate external learning partners and vendors as needed.
  • Help establish scalable, consistent learning programming, standards, processes, templates, and governance across the Sales organization.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in sales training, sales enablement, learning and development, instructional design, talent development, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience owning learning programs from strategy/design through implementation and evaluation.
  • Deep knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles, with experience creating blended learning journeys using a variety of modalities.
  • Experience supporting SaaS sales organizations and building programs that strengthen seller capability and performance; Sandler Sales methodology certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the executive presence and business judgment to partner effectively.
  • Experience using learning technology, LMS, and virtual learning platforms.
