Sales Ledger Assistant
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
About The Role
We are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our busy Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working with numbers, administration and people. In this role, you will support the smooth running of the sales ledger function, ensuring invoices, payments and records are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process resident admissions and discharges in preparation for invoicing.
- Prepare invoices for care homes and day centres.
- Process and allocate payments accurately.
- Process card payments and issue refunds where applicable.
- Check self-funding arrangements, council contracts and purchase orders.
- Communicate effectively with care homes and assist with family telephone enquiries.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date and legible manual and computerised records.

About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a professional approach. Previous experience within a finance, sales ledger or administrative role would be advantageous. You will have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
