Location: East London Job Type: Full-time Salary: £31,000 base salary + commission OTE + of approximately £46,000 + per year.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced estate agency professional to join our team as a Sales & Lettings Manager.
This role is suited to someone with proven experience in estate agency, lettings and property management who is confident dealing directly with landlords, tenants, buyers, applicants and other clients.
You will play a key role across lettings, property management, sales and new business development, while working with a substantial portfolio of our own properties.
There is also a significant opportunity to grow our external client portfolio across Guaranteed Rent, Property Management, Lettings and Sales.
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, trustworthy, highly organised and motivated by delivering results and increasing earnings through commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings and follow up with applicants and prospective buyers.
- Manage the lettings process from initial enquiry through to tenancy.
- Deal directly with landlords, tenants, buyers, applicants and other clients.
- Discuss and negotiate property sales, lettings and management agreements.
- Manage day-to-day property-management matters.
- Coordinate maintenance issues and liaise with contractors where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing landlords and clients.
- Proactively identify and secure new landlords and property-management opportunities.
- Develop the company’s client portfolio across Guaranteed Rent, Property Management, Lettings and Sales.
- Negotiate commercial terms with landlords and prospective clients.
- Follow up leads and opportunities to maximise new business.
- Maintain accurate property, client and transaction records.
- Prepare and manage tenancy agreements, contracts and other property-related documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, tenants, landlords, agents and other stakeholders.
- Assist with property marketing, including online listings, portals and social media.
- Support the wider estate agency team with operational and administrative requirements.
- Ensure clients receive a professional, responsive and efficient service.

Essential Experience & Skills
Previous experience in estate agency, lettings and property management is essential.
This is not an entry-level position.
The successful candidate should have:
- Proven experience working within an estate agency or property-management environment.
- Practical knowledge of residential lettings, property management and sales.
- Experience dealing directly with landlords, tenants, buyers, applicants and clients.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to generate new business and develop client relationships.
- Good commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and estate-agency/property-management software.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional, trustworthy and proactive approach.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confidence managing multiple properties, clients and transactions at the same time.

Driving Licence
A full UK driving licence is required.
Own car is not essential, although access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
What We Offer
- £31,000 base salary per year.
- Commission based on performance and new business.
- OTE + of approximately £46,000 + per year.
