SALES & LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR (MATERNITY COVER)

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will coordinate administrative and logistics processes with our third-party logistics provider, ensuring enquiries and orders are managed efficiently and professionally. By building strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners, you will play a key role in maintaining high service standards and supporting business success.

You will work collaboratively across multiple functions, contributing to the smooth delivery of finished goods and spare parts while driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enquiries (direct and indirect) relating to logistics, finished goods & spare parts;
  • Control administrative process from placement of the order to delivery, using relevant operating procedures and systems (direct and indirect);
  • Liaise with group factories to expedite and monitor progress of finished goods and spare parts products into the UK;
  • Arrange any specific transport requirements of either the customer or the site;
  • Arranging for the collection and disposal of any equipment as requested by the customer;
  • Manages the process for returned finished good stock and arranges the sale of these;
  • To liaise with the Finance Department to assist with any invoice queries and POD documents when required;
  • Administration of any damaged or returned finished goods and spare parts;
  • To undertake, or assist with specific or general tasks as requested by the Line Manager;
  • To attend training as required;
  • Utilize internal CRM system to track day to day activities and communicate with customers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Have a few years of experience in administration, preferably from logistics or sales.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are reliable, organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Can work independently and use your own initiative.
  • Have strong planning and prioritization skills, ensuring urgent and important tasks are completed on time.
  • Are collaborative and work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in core subjects, including English and Mathematics.
  • Experience in Salesforce is an advantage.
