Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Applications
£50,000 - £60,000 + 30% Bonus + Hybrid Company Car + Home Based
Location: Home Based | Ideally North West, Yorkshire or M62 Corridor
Our client is a well-established, privately owned speciality chemicals distributor with an outstanding reputation for technical expertise, customer service, and long-standing customer partnerships across the UK and Ireland.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven Regional Sales Manager to develop their Industrial Applications business, focusing on lubricants, greases, and metalworking fluids.
The Opportunity
This is a consultative sales role where you'll manage an established portfolio worth approximately £2.5 million, while driving new business across manufacturing industries. You'll inherit around 100-150 active buying accounts alongside a wider network of customer contacts, with a strong emphasis on business development and long-term relationship building.
Typical sales cycles range from 6-12 months, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solution-based selling rather than transactional sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales across lubricants, greases, and metalworking fluids
- Develop new business and increase market share
- Manage key customer relationships across manufacturing industries
- Deliver technical and commercial sales support
- Maintain CRM pipelines and sales forecasts
- Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events
- Work closely with internal teams and international supplier partners

About You
We're looking for someone with experience selling into manufacturing industries, ideally within:
- Lubricants
- Greases
- Metalworking Fluids
- Speciality Chemicals
- Chemical Distribution
You'll also have:
- Proven B2B sales and business development experience
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- A consultative, solution-led sales approach
- The confidence to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Energy, drive, and a genuine passion for developing business
A STEM qualification would be advantageous, although significant industry experience will be considered equally.
