Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate Sales Manager to join the award-winning Fairmont St Andrews, where you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth across the MICE segment. You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, actively seek new business opportunities and implement strategic sales initiatives. This is your opportunity to represent one of Scotland’s most iconic destinations and make a meaningful impact on our group revenue objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities: Prospect and secure new business through high-impact, in-person sales meetings and networking at key events and trade exhibitions.
- Grow key accounts: Maximize value from existing clients and build long-term loyalty.
- Be our brand ambassador: Represent Fairmont St Andrews across the UK and internationally through sales missions, industry events, and client visits.
- Collaborate for success: Work closely with Accor Global Sales, tourist boards, and partners to drive demand.
- Own your market: Design and implement strategic initiatives to drive bookings, maximize revenue, and elevate brand presence.
What You Bring:
- Proven success in proactive B2B sales, ideally in the MICE or hospitality space.
- Strong client engagement and negotiation skills, with a relentless focus on securing business wins.
- Ability to travel and represent a world-class brand with confidence.

Qualifications
About You
- Minimum 3–5 years of proactive B2B sales experience, preferably in MICE, hospitality, or luxury travel sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with global hotel brands or conference venues is a strong advantage.
- Experience with key markets (e.g., UK, European, or international MICE business) is beneficial.
- Proficient in CRM systems, ideally Opera Sales & Catering.
- Solid grasp of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Knowledge of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and market segmentation.
