Sales Manager
Industrial, Defence and Medical markets
Location: Long Crendon Field based in UK
This is a senior leader role responsible for identifying and driving revenue growth, managing the technical sales team, and engaging in supplier development for Power supply business within industrial, defence and medical markets.
The Opportunity
- Lead the sales team, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating sales staff to achieve targets and develop new customer relationships
- Set and achieve sales and profit targets through strategy execution and KPI management
- Develop and drive design sales through a strong project pipeline and opportunity conversion process
- Coordinate forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking activities
- Develop market strategies and strengthen supplier relationships
- Create and execute sales strategies focused on products, markets, and customers
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through communication and negotiation
- Manage pricing strategy and quote management within the sales team
- Promote customization and value-added service offerings
- Support strategic customer initiatives and continuous improvement activities

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of leadership and people management experience in field or remote sales
- At least 10 years of experience in the power supply market; battery supply knowledge is advantageous
- Experience with customers across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic regions
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of electrical industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 50%) and valid driver's licence
