Role Description

The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Maidstone. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow the client base, increase revenue, and strengthen existing customer relationships within the facilities management sector.

  • Preparing and delivering proposals and presentations
  • Leading contract negotiations
  • Maintaining accurate sales pipelines and forecasts

The role involves close collaboration with operations and customer service teams to ensure tailored solutions meet client requirements, while upholding company values and service standards. The Sales Manager will also monitor market trends, contribute to pricing strategies, and report on performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing deals.
  • Experience in account management and customer relationship management, with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Knowledge of facilities management or related service industries, with an understanding of asset lifecycle and cost-effective solutions.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at various levels.
  • Analytical and commercial skills for preparing proposals, pricing, and sales forecasts, and interpreting market trends.
  • Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple opportunities and priorities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and standard office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, and email).
  • Prior experience in a Sales Manager or similar role, ideally within FM or B2B services; a relevant degree or professional qualification is beneficial.
