With our team’s extensive industry expertise and local knowledge, we’re here to help people find, sell and let their property.

£40,000 - £50,000 OTE.

Full time | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our successful Canterbury team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven property professional to support the branch manager in the day-to-day performance of the branch, while delivering an exceptional level of service to clients and helping the team achieve and exceed its targets.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business, building strong client and buyer relationships, and supporting and developing the wider sales team. You will lead by example, bringing energy, ambition and a customer-focused approach to everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and branch targets.
  • Drive new business through valuations, applicant registrations and proactive business development.
  • Register clients, arrange and conduct property viewings, and secure valuations and Financial Services referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with vendors, buyers and prospective clients.
  • Provide an outstanding, professional and customer-focused service throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct property viewings and confidently present properties, providing detailed and accurate information to potential buyers.
  • Manage and negotiate offers effectively, maximising opportunities and progressing sales through to completion.
  • Provide vendors with accurate and timely feedback, ensuring they remain fully informed throughout the process.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and branch targets, taking action where necessary to maximise results.
  • Coach, support and develop junior members of the team, helping them improve their sales performance and professional skills.
  • Lead by example in client communication, negotiation, business generation and customer service.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the branch and wider business to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
  • Identify opportunities for additional business, including Financial Services referrals and other relevant services.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the Canterbury property market, local developments and wider industry trends.
  • Ensure all sales activity is accurately recorded and that company procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Canterbury branch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
