What you'll be serving up…

As Sales Manager for Conference & Events at AESSEAL New York Stadium, you'll be responsible for driving conference and event sales across one of South Yorkshire's leading event venues. Working for Elior UK and based full-time at the home of Rotherham United Football Club, you'll play a key role in growing revenue, securing new business, and delivering exceptional client experiences across a wide range of events.

  • Proactively generate new conference, meeting and event business to achieve revenue growth.
  • Manage enquiries from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation and contract confirmation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, agencies and event organisers.
  • Conduct venue showrounds and create tailored event solutions for conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, private celebrations and seasonal events.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maximising venue occupancy and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to increase repeat business, client retention and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the venue at networking events, exhibitions and business forums to raise venue profile and generate leads.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and customer records using CRM systems.
  • Work closely with Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless event planning and delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotional activity to drive awareness and sales.

The ingredients you'll bring...

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven sales professional who is passionate about hospitality, events and customer service.

  • Previous experience in conference and events sales, venue sales, hospitality sales or hotel sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business development objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and projects.
  • Confidence conducting client meetings, venue tours and sales presentations.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
