Role Description

The Sales Manager will oversee and grow KAAP Freight Services’ client base, focusing on developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sunbury-On-Thames and involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and supporting long-term accounts. The Sales Manager will monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular reporting and forecasts to leadership, while contributing to the refinement of sales strategies and customer offerings. The role also includes representing KAAP at industry events and meetings to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and consultative selling.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, build sales pipelines, and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Comfort working with CRM platforms, sales reporting tools, and standard office software.
  • Knowledge of international trade practices, shipping processes, and key logistics routes is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, customer-centric service, and continuous improvement.
  • Eligibility to work on-site in Sunbury-On-Thames and willingness to attend client meetings and industry events as needed.
