Sales Manager

Cosmos Solutions Group | Saltaire, West Yorkshire

At Cosmos Solutions Group, we're building something different.

We're looking for a Sales Manager who enjoys coaching people, improving performance, and creating opportunities that drive growth across the business. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind spreadsheets or simply manage forecasts. It's for someone who enjoys coaching people, improving systems, creating opportunities, and making things happen.

You'll lead a team of six sales professionals across our two brands, Cosmos Solutions Group and The Office Interiors Group (TOIG), while also opening doors with high-value prospects that create new opportunities for the team.

Success in this role isn't about individual heroics. It's about bringing people together, creating a culture where the team supports one another, shares ideas, celebrates success, and works collectively towards ambitious goals.

This is a genuine opportunity to shape the future of our sales function and become a key part of our growth journey.

What you'll be doing

You'll have two clear areas of responsibility.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Lead a high-performing sales team

  • Own the sales performance and sales health of both brands.
  • Coach, develop and challenge a team of six sales professionals.
  • Drive accountability through KPIs, regular 1:1s and team meetings.
  • Improve and embed our sales process so great habits become the norm.
  • Ensure CRM data, pipeline management and forecasting are always accurate.
  • Focus on profitable growth, not simply increasing revenue.
  • Foster a culture of togetherness where knowledge is shared, successes are celebrated, and the team wins together.

Create opportunities

  • Build relationships with ideal customers and senior decision makers.
  • Make strategic introductions that generate quality opportunities.
  • Support the sales team by opening doors while they own and close the opportunities.
  • Represent the business with confidence and credibility, working closely with colleagues across the wider business to deliver the best outcomes for customers.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines commercial instinct with strong leadership.

You'll ideally have:

  • A proven track record in B2B sales.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing a sales team.
  • A structured, process-driven approach to sales management.
  • Confidence using CRM systems and sales reporting.
  • The ability to motivate, challenge and hold people accountable while creating an environment where people genuinely enjoy working together.
  • Experience implementing new sales processes or driving behavioural change within a sales team would be an advantage.
