Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

Overview:

This position is responsible for overseeing the company's sales efforts in UK markets, specifically focusing on the implementation of local business strategies and operational plans. They will play a pivotal role in understanding the industry landscape, planning and adjusting the company's business network and sales channel layout, while driving business growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing the company's local business development strategies and operational plans.
  • Maintain the current business with key customers, distributors, and end stores.
  • Analyze the current state of the industry and plan/adjust the company's business network and sales channel layout accordingly.
  • Lead the expansion of business markets, identify potential markets and customers, and achieve the company's sales targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis in markets, optimize sales strategies, and achieve channel planning and layout to enhance sales, product distribution, and shelf presence.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and sales channels, negotiate and execute commercial contracts and service agreements, manage payment collection, and coordinate with customs and export procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as Marketing and Supply Management to ensure the achievement of annual sales targets, new product launches, and other strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of sales experience in the related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
  • Fluent in English for effective communication with international clients and business partners.
  • A deep understanding of the FMCG industry, including market trends, regulatory landscapes, and consumer preferences in the UK market.
  • Experience in developing and managing sales channels, establishing distribution networks, and achieving sales growth.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and formulate strategies to maximize sales performance.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK for business meetings, market research, and client visits.
