Sales Manager – Renewable Energy Sector | Oldham | Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Company Car

Our client is a respected solar PV specialist operating across the North West, delivering projects for local authorities, schools, academy trusts and commercial property owners. As the business enters its next phase of growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the leadership team and lead their commercial strategy.

This is a strategic, relationship-led position offering genuine autonomy, working closely with senior leadership to develop new business across both public sector frameworks and private commercial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a pipeline of public and private sector opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across target sectors
  • Lead pricing, costing and commercial negotiations
  • Manage tender submissions and framework bid processes
  • Support diversification of revenue streams beyond public sector procurement
  • Contribute as a core member of the senior leadership team

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven background in sales, business development or commercial partnerships
  • Experience within renewable energy, solar, infrastructure or the wider energy sector is advantageous
  • Demonstrable track record of building pipelines and converting opportunities into sustained revenue
  • Confidence negotiating and pricing at a senior level
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient and relationship-focused approach
