Reeds Rains - Chesterfield
Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission + Career Progression
Be the engine room of a high-performing estate agency branch.
At Reeds Rains, we believe great branches aren't built by one person - they're built by great teams.
We're looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to become the co-pilot to our Branch Manager; someone who thrives on leadership, loves estate agency, and takes pride in delivering outstanding results for customers and colleagues alike.
This is a pivotal role within the branch.
While the Branch Manager is often out winning new instructions and conducting valuations, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the sales business - leading the team, selling properties, managing the pipeline and ensuring every sale crosses the finish line.
If you're passionate about people, property and performance, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same in estate agency, but your key responsibilities will include:
Leading the Team
- Training, coaching and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
- Conducting regular one-to-ones and performance reviews.
- Creating a culture of accountability, positivity and high performance.
- Supporting the Branch Manager in delivering branch objectives and growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
