Sales Manager – Northern Ireland & Dublin Region

County Down | £40,000–£45,000 + Car + Commission + Benefits

On behalf of our manufacturing client based in County Down, Energis is recruiting a Sales Manager to develop and grow business across Northern Ireland and the Dublin region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a technical sales background to join a well-established manufacturer. You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to deliver the best solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by developing a thorough understanding of customers' technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production and Procurement teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and business growth.
  • Provide technical advice and product support to customers and internal colleagues where required.

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a technical sales role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or the food industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record of developing customer relationships and delivering sales growth.
  • Self-motivated, commercially focused and able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
