About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Sales Manager to lead and develop our Sales team in Cheltenham.
This role is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth through effective leadership, coaching, performance management and commercial decision-making. Working within an established sales structure, you will take ownership of existing processes, KPIs and reporting while identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and overall sales performance.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can motivate and develop people, make effective use of data and management information, and work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Manage and improve performance against established sales KPIs
- Monitor lead generation, quotations, conversion rates, pipeline activity and customer retention
- Coach and mentor team members through regular one-to-ones and performance reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and sales performance
- Support business growth through new business development and account expansion
- Maintain effective use of CRM systems and sales processes
- Monitor pipeline quality, forecasting and sales reporting
- Analyse sales and commercial data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Work with senior management to implement improvements that add value to the business
Skills, Knowledge, And Expertise
- Previous B2B sales management experience
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness with a focus on profitable growth
- Experience managing KPIs, sales reporting and performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act upon data
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience using CRM systems
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

Salary And Benefits
- We offer a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience, with On Target Earnings of £55,000 - £60,000 including monthly commission and annual bonus.
