Role Description

The Sales Manager will collaborate with operations and technical teams to design tailored service packages, negotiate contracts, and ensure that client expectations are clearly defined and met. The role also involves:

  • Monitoring market trends
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within facilities management, security services, or related sectors.
  • Strong ability to build client relationships, manage accounts, and handle negotiations and contract discussions confidently.
  • Experience in developing sales strategies, setting targets, and using CRM or other sales tools to manage pipelines and reporting.
  • Solid commercial awareness, including understanding of pricing, service contracts, and competitive positioning in the UK market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Organized and self-driven, able to manage multiple opportunities, meet deadlines, and work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of security systems, facilities management services, or property-related solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant education in business, sales, management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel within the Manchester Area and to client sites as needed.
