Sales Manager

Location: Ealing, West London
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 + OTE £55,000
Office: 5 days a week in the office - Friday early finish

Company:

Know how a retail head office really works, the merchandising, the buying, the supply chain? This is your chance to turn that insider knowledge into a serious sales career.

I'm working with a well-established, independent retail software business, 30+ years in the market, powering some of the best-known fashion and footwear names on the UK high street and clients across 30+ countries. They're now looking for a genuine new-business hunter to sell their full solution suite (EPOS, stock control, merchandising, fulfilment and BI) into head-office decision makers across the Apparel, Footwear and General Merchandise sectors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why this one's different:

  • You're not thrown to the wolves. Once you've booked the meeting, the wider business gets behind you to help win the deal, a genuinely collaborative, cross-team culture.
  • A warm database to work from day one, a mix of warm and cold leads, not a cold-start desk.
  • Uncapped 3% commission on all new acquisitions, on top of a £35k–£45k basic.
  • Clear progression: as the team grows, there's a real path to lead and build it out.
  • Sociable office-based hours with an early Friday finish.
