Sales Manager

Up to £80,000 base + £95,000 OTE
London – 2 days in the office / 3 days WFH

We are looking for a hungry, high-energy and hands-on Sales Manager to join a fast-growing business operating across the UK and US.

This is a role for someone who loves being close to the action. You'll get involved in deals, help your team convert opportunities, coach and develop AEs and build the repeatable processes that drive consistent performance.

You'll be obsessed with improving outcomes, using data, coaching and the power of AI to make both yourself and your team more effective.

If you're looking to manage purely through dashboards and weekly one-to-ones, this probably isn't for you. If you love sales, love developing people and get real satisfaction from making good salespeople great, keep reading.

About the business

You'll be joining a high-growth business that has built a superb reputation and a genuinely differentiated offering within the visitor attractions and experiences market.

The business is a full-scale growth partner for visitor attractions, venues and seasonal events, combining industry-leading technology with hands-on marketing services to help operators increase revenue, improve customer experience and reach millions of new visitors.

Its all-in-one solution brings together:

  • Ticketing & online bookings
  • Memberships, passes & gift cards
  • EPOS
  • Marketing automation
  • Website design
  • Social media
  • SEO & digital marketing services

And the results speak for themselves: 33% higher conversion, 45% less admin and 10%+ more revenue.

Instead of operators relying on multiple disconnected suppliers, the business provides one highly cost-effective solution to manage, market and grow their entire operation.

There is also serious momentum behind the business. Following two acquisitions, it is continuing to expand its product and service offering while gaining real traction across the US market.

The mission is simple: simplify ticketing, supercharge marketing and help attraction businesses grow.

The role

You'll lead a team of AEs selling ticketing and marketing solutions to attractions, experience providers and seasonal event operators across the UK and US.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a lean, high-ownership environment. You'll stay close to the sales process, understand what's happening within individual deals, coach continuously and take real ownership of improving performance across the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your goal isn't simply to hit one great month. It's to build a high-performing sales team that delivers consistently, month after month.

What you'll do

  • Own the team's new business target and take full accountability for delivering it consistently
  • Get involved in key pitches and demos, helping AEs progress opportunities and close important deals
  • Listen to calls and deliver specific, actionable coaching across discovery, demos, objection handling and closing
  • Run high-quality pipeline reviews and deliver accurate forecasting through HubSpot
  • Analyse performance throughout the funnel, identifying whether challenges sit within activity, conversion, deal size or sales cycle
  • Build clear improvement plans that address the root cause of performance issues
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and ramp new AEs as the team grows
  • Use AI extensively to improve productivity and performance across call analysis, prospect research, coaching and wider sales processes
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure strong handovers and feed valuable market intelligence back into Product and Marketing
  • Set the standard across activity, CRM hygiene, pipeline management and follow-through — and hold the team accountable to it

What success looks like

  • Your team consistently delivers against target month after month
  • Every AE understands exactly where they need to improve and is measurably getting better
  • Forecasting is accurate, reliable and trusted by leadership
  • New hires ramp quickly through structured onboarding and coaching
  • You create repeatable processes that improve performance as the team scales
  • You build a high-performance culture where people are challenged, supported and genuinely want to work for you

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • A proven hands-on Sales Manager who enjoys staying close to the sales process, joining pitches and helping reps progress and close deals
  • A strong track record of building and leading a high-performing sales team that consistently delivers against target
  • Clear evidence that you can coach, develop and improve salespeople, with examples of individuals and teams performing better because of your leadership
  • Experience operating within a high-velocity SME sales environment
  • Highly analytical — you understand your numbers, think in funnels and can quickly diagnose exactly where performance is breaking down
  • Strong practical AI skills — you already use AI to improve performance and can demonstrate impactful use cases from previous roles
  • Excellent attention to detail across CRM hygiene, forecasting, pipeline management and deal execution
  • A genuine people leader who knows how to motivate, challenge and retain high performers
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced scale-up environment where accountability and ownership are high

Why this role?

  • Make a genuine impact — own the number, shape how the team operates and work directly with senior leadership
  • Lead a team selling a differentiated solution — ticketing, marketing technology and hands-on marketing services within one offering
  • Join at an exciting stage of growth — two acquisitions completed, strong UK foundations and growing momentum in the US
  • Build something — improve processes, raise standards, develop talent and help shape the next stage of the sales function
  • Work in a market with huge opportunity — the product has a clear commercial impact for customers, helping them increase revenue, reduce admin and improve customer experience
