Sales Manager✨
Fully Remote | £50,000–£70,000 + Commission
Experience of SHORT SALES CYCLES is essential.
If you're a high-energy new business salesperson who loves picking up the phone, creating opportunities from scratch and closing deals, this could be a great opportunity.
We're looking for an ambitious Sales Manager / Sales Director to join the team and play a key role in driving further growth.
What You'll Be Doing👇
This isn't an account management role. You'll be responsible for winning new business, owning your sales activity and taking opportunities from first conversation through to signed deal.
You'll spend your time:
- Building your own prospect list and identifying new opportunities.
- Making outbound calls and engaging prospects through email and other channels.
- Opening conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Qualifying prospects and identifying genuine commercial opportunities.
- Running sales conversations, presentations and pitches.
- Managing objections and negotiating with confidence.
- Keeping a healthy, self-generated pipeline.
- Moving opportunities quickly through the sales cycle.
- Closing your own deals and owning the revenue generated.
- Consistently working towards and exceeding sales targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The environment is high activity, fast paced and results driven, so you'll need to be comfortable managing a large number of opportunities at once.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hunting for business. You won't be relying on a large database of warm inbound leads. You should be comfortable creating your own opportunities, picking up the phone and getting in front of people who weren't necessarily expecting your call.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong B2B new-business sales experience.
- A demonstrable history of hitting and exceeding targets.
- Experience personally closing deals.
- A background in short-cycle, high-volume sales.
- Strong outbound prospecting experience.
- The ability to consistently generate your own pipeline.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
- Resilience, drive and a genuine competitive edge.
- The ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.

Most importantly, you must be accustomed to short sales cycles, high activity levels and personally closing new-business deals.
If you've spent most of your career in long-cycle enterprise sales, account management or predominantly relationship-led roles, this probably won't be the right fit.
