Role

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our proactive Sales team at Rosewood London. Our Sales Managers are appointed to drive sales through proactive sales activities. This role plays an integral part in positioning Rosewood London as one of the city’s market leaders within the luxury segment.

Key expectations of this role are:

  • Proactively drive business and manage the relationship, saturation, and penetration of a portfolio of accounts.
  • Think creatively to develop and design new ideas, applications, relationships etc., to continue driving business.
  • Penetrate the allocated market segments through sales activities aligned with the overall sales strategy.
  • Maintain the relevant aspects of our client database and building strong relationships with stakeholders in line with Rosewood’s philosophy of Relationship Hospitality.
  • Take a proactive role in maximising revenues for the hotel where appropriate (e.g. Spa, Concierge/transportation, F&B outlets).
  • Analyse, properly qualify, negotiate, and prepare proposals, contracts, and addendums according to hotel availability.
  • Acquire, retain and develop group and corporate transient business for the hotel and understand the comp set and retrieve market intelligence.
  • Secure contracts and first deposits for converted groups, following on with complete and accurate handover to the Group Services team.
  • Maintain constant accurate records in Salesforce/Delphi, including updating profiles, follow up from business trips, events, booking activities, contacts, and revenue.

Profile

  • Experience at managerial level within a high pressured and dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in Sales, Event Sales, or Services at a luxury hotel is highly preferred.
  • A thorough understanding of managing various stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Having a good working knowledge of Sales Force and Microsoft Office.
  • Possessing an exceptional level of attention to detail paired with the highest degree of integrity and discretion.
  • The ability to clearly communicate in written and spoken English via several different communication channels.
