Sales Manager โ€“ Structural Steel

๐Ÿ“ London
๐Ÿ’ผ Permanent | Full Time
๐Ÿ’ฐ Competitive salary, depending on experience

Selling structural steel in London means knowing more than how to sell.
You need to understand the projects, the contractors, the pressures around programme and cost, and most importantly, what a steel fabricator can actually deliver.

We're looking for a Sales Manager with previous experience working for a structural steel fabricator to develop new business, build strong client relationships and help bring the right projects into the business.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing new opportunities across the London and wider UK construction market, while continuing to build relationships with existing clients.

You'll be speaking with main contractors, developers, steelwork contractors, engineers and other construction professionals, getting involved early in projects and identifying where the business can add value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why This Role?

You'll be selling steel from a position of knowledge.

Because you've worked within a fabricator, you'll understand the difference between a project that looks attractive on paper and one that genuinely works for the business.

You'll have the opportunity to develop relationships across the London construction market, open doors to new projects and have a direct influence on the company's future order book.

This isn't simply about managing a sales pipeline.

It's about finding the right projects, getting in front of the right people and turning industry relationships into profitable structural steelwork.

If you've worked for a structural steel fabricator and have the contacts, commercial understanding and drive to win work across London, this could be worth a conversation.
