Sales Manager

Hybrid | London
Up to £85,000 + Commission

This really is the perfect opportunity for a high-energy, highly capable and ambitious Sales Leader who wants genuine ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to make a huge impact.
You will take full ownership of the UK new business sales team, leading an already high-performing group of Account Executives while playing a critical role in the next stage of the company's growth.

And it's an exciting time to join.

The business has developed a best-in-class product, secured £10m in funding, completed two high-impact acquisitions and has serious ambitions for continued international growth and, ultimately, becoming a public company.

This isn't about maintaining what's already there.

It's about taking a successful sales function and making it exceptional.

About the business

My client has built a superb solution that is delivering exceptional ROI for its customers.
They combine best-in-class ticketing technology with specialist digital marketing services, including:

  • Web design
  • SEO
  • Email marketing
  • Social media
  • Digital customer acquisition

The result is a powerful proposition that helps venues get discovered, attract more visitors and convert that demand into ticket revenue.

Their customers span the attractions and experience economy, including:

  • Theme parks
  • Zoos
  • Museums
  • Visitor attractions
  • Events & fairs
  • Activity venues
  • Tour operators

They have already gained significant market share in the UK and are now seeing real traction in the US.

The foundations are firmly in place. Now they want an exceptional Sales Manager to help accelerate the next stage.

The opportunity

This is a critical leadership hire for the business.

You will inherit a high-performing new business team of six Account Executives who are already exceeding target — but there is still a huge amount of opportunity to improve, optimise and grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We need someone with the knowledge, track record and ambition to make an immediate impact, while also having the capability to help take the sales organisation from strength to strength.
You won't carry an individual sales target.

Your job is to make the team better, the sales engine stronger and the revenue number bigger.

That means being visible, hands-on and genuinely involved.

You'll coach. You'll challenge. You'll analyse. You'll recruit. You'll improve process. And when an important deal needs senior involvement, you'll be there to help get it over the line.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Sales Leader who:

  • Is obsessed with growth and revenue — you naturally look for ways to improve performance, conversion and output.
  • Is an exceptional hands-on coach — running weekly group sessions, structured 1:1s and active sales-floor coaching.
  • Knows how to close — you won't carry your own target, but you'll sit on deals when needed and help your team convert.
  • Understands the numbers — excellent with reporting, forecasting and sales data, with the ability to turn insight into action and educate the wider business.
  • Is a natural collaborator — working extremely closely with Marketing and Account Management to maximise revenue, customer experience and growth.
  • Understands modern sales technology — able to maximise the existing tech stack while driving meaningful adoption and use of AI across the sales function.
  • Has a winner's mentality — and knows how to build that same high-performance mindset across a team.
  • Brings serious energy — with a proven background in fast-paced, high-volume sales environments.
  • Has relevant sector experience — ideally across ticketing, SaaS, marketplaces, digital media or a closely related technology environment.
  • Understands scale-up life — comfortable with rapid growth, changing priorities, high expectations and moving quickly.
  • Loves building teams — recruitment will be a major part of the mission as you hire, onboard, develop and grow the sales organisation.
