Sales Manager (Contracting) | Contextual YouTube Advertising

Salary: Up to £75,000 base + commission

We’re partnering with a fast-growing advertising technology company that is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join its UK commercial team.

The business provides advanced contextual targeting solutions that help brands and agencies reach the right audiences across YouTube, combining intelligent technology, relevant content environments and measurable campaign performance.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing relationships across both holding-company and independent agencies
  • Developing new business opportunities with planners, buyers, programmatic teams and senior agency stakeholders
  • Selling contextual YouTube advertising solutions to relevant agency and advertiser partners
  • Creating a strong pipeline of new opportunities and converting these into long-term revenue
  • Delivering compelling presentations, proposals and platform demonstrations
  • Responding to briefs and developing solutions aligned with clients’ campaign objectives
  • Growing existing agency relationships through repeat business and wider account penetration
  • Working closely with internal campaign, strategy and client-service teams
  • Representing the company at agency meetings, industry events and networking opportunities

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience selling digital media, video, YouTube, social or programmatic advertising solutions
  • Has strong relationships within UK media agencies
  • Understands how agencies plan and buy digital video campaigns
  • Is comfortable generating new business as well as developing existing accounts
  • Can communicate technology and targeting capabilities in a clear, commercially engaging way
  • Is confident presenting to both day-to-day buyers and senior decision-makers
  • Has an entrepreneurial, proactive approach and enjoys having freedom over their target accounts
  • Is motivated by ambitious revenue goals and uncapped earning potential
