We are seeking a Sales Manager to drive strategic growth across the US, North American, Canadian, LATAM and Domestic Corporate markets. In this pivotal role, you will cultivate strong relationships, generate new business and showcase our iconic hotel on the international stage.

The Person

  • Experienced in the international MICE market, with strong agency, incentive-house and DMC relationships
  • An exceptional communicator - confident in presentations, written communication and public speaking
  • Proactive, commercially minded and skilled at identifying leads and opportunities
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong partnerships across departments and Hilton Worldwide Sales
  • Analytical, ethical and detail-driven, with strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

The Role

  • Develop and grow key markets across the US, Canada, LATAM and Edinburgh to drive group, incentive and event business
  • Build relationships with direct clients, DMC partners and Hilton Worldwide Sales
  • Attend international tradeshows and represent the hotel to key global accounts
  • Conduct proactive sales calls, client meetings, site visits and familiarisation trips
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to maximise revenue and market share
  • Create impactful sales programmes in partnership with Commercial and hotel teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source new leads and grow existing business through proactive and strategic sales activity
  • Deliver compelling site visits, familiarisation trips and client experiences
  • Produce accurate reports on appointments, leads, and business performance
  • Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design exceptional guest experiences and sales initiatives
  • Contribute to commercial strategy, identifying short-lead and long-term opportunities
