Role Description

The Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in King’s Norton, with some flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for leading and developing the sales, setting sales targets, and monitoring performance to drive revenue growth for luxury kitchen and bedroom projects.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Managing the sales pipeline
  • Conducting client consultations in the showroom and virtually
  • Preparing quotations
  • Overseeing the end-to-end sales process from initial enquiry through to confirmed orders

The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with designers, installers, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience, while identifying new business opportunities and nurturing long-term client relationships. The role also involves reporting on sales metrics, implementing sales strategies, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer care.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within home interiors, kitchens, bedrooms, or a related design-led industry.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and present solutions clearly.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills, with experience in pricing, quotations, and closing high-value sales.
  • Organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple client projects, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Comfort with hybrid working, digital tools (CRM systems, videoconferencing, email, spreadsheets), and showroom-based consultations.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of design quality, with an interest in interiors, luxury products, and customer experience.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in sales, business, or related fields are beneficial; prior experience in a similar role is highly valued.
