Sales Manager

Do you have a proven track record in event sales and a passion for building commercial partnerships?
We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and rapidly growing business looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue across an exciting portfolio of events and commercial solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with exhibition, conference, event, or sponsorship sales experience who is looking to take ownership of a growing project, build key client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the success of a high-profile launch.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and selling a range of sponsorship, exhibition, and marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and digital marketing opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and upselling.
  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM systems.
  • Attend client meetings, industry exhibitions, and networking events.
  • Represent the business at events both within the UK and internationally.
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

About You

  • Previous experience selling exhibition space, sponsorship, events, or media solutions is essential.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • A confident negotiator with excellent communication skills.
  • Target-driven with a proven history of achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially minded.
  • Comfortable building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel regularly within the UK and overseas as required.
