Role Description
The Sales Manager at Chorus is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work from home - we are based in Aberdeen. The person in this role will oversee end-to-end sales activities, including:
- Identifying prospects
- Managing a pipeline
- Conducting product demonstrations
- Leading negotiations to close new business

- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
- Collaborating with marketing and customer success to drive revenue growth
- Developing sales strategies tailored to hazardous industry clients
The Sales Manager will analyze sales metrics, forecast performance, and report on progress to leadership, while coaching and supporting team members to meet targets. This role also involves staying current on industry trends and customer needs to position Chorus’s platform effectively in the market.
Qualifications
- Strong background in B2B sales or account management, ideally in software, training, compliance, or related solutions for industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, conduct consultative sales conversations, and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience developing and executing sales strategies, forecasting revenue, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical or regulatory concepts in clear, practical terms.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with strong self-management, organization, and collaboration skills across in-person and remote settings.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term customer relationships and partner with internal teams such as marketing, product, and customer success.
- Familiarity with hazardous industries, safety training, or compliance frameworks is beneficial but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in Utilities or selling in the safety Industry is an advantage.
