Company Description

PureLPG is a specialist LPG supplier focused on bulk propane for homes and businesses, with fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery. Customers can switch suppliers easily and at no cost, while keeping their existing tanks. The company also supplies propane gas cylinders and bottles, with a focus on 47kg and 18kg forklift truck cylinders, and installs bulk tanks for commercial clients. PureLPG manages the entire switching process for commercial LPG customers by liaising with previous suppliers to swap gas tanks seamlessly. The team is committed to helping customers reduce costs and improve the reliability of their LPG supply.

Role Description

The Sales Manager role at PureLPG is a full-time, on-site position based in the West Midlands. This role is responsible for generating new business for commercial LPG customers, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing. The Sales Manager will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth tank installations and supply transitions.
  • Provide accurate pricing proposals and contract information.
  • Conduct daily activities including prospecting, conducting site visits, preparing sales forecasts and reports, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Contribute to sales strategies, identify opportunities for growth, and represent PureLPG at industry events and local networking activities.

  • Proven experience in B2B LPG industry within the UK.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, account management, and customer service, with the ability to maintain long-term client partnerships.
  • Knowledge and experience of the LPG industry in the UK.
  • Competence in negotiation, contract management, and closing deals while maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales systems.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop sales strategies that support revenue growth.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfort with conducting site visits, understanding basic technical aspects of LPG supply (e.g., tanks, cylinders), and liaising with operations teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
  • Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM platforms) and readiness to learn industry-specific systems.
  • Ability to work on-site in the West Midlands region, hold a valid driver’s license, and travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience is acceptable.
