Join the team behind one of South Yorkshire's premier conference and events venues.

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Sales Manager to lead conference and event sales at the iconic AESSEAL New York Stadium, home of Rotherham United Football Club.

Employed by Elior UK and based full-time at the stadium, you'll play a key role in driving revenue across a diverse range of events, from corporate meetings and conferences to gala dinners, exhibitions, private celebrations and Christmas parties.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

Reporting to the venue's senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and growing conference and events business while maximising revenue and occupancy across the venue's meeting and event spaces.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively generating new conference and event business.
  • Managing enquiries from initial contact through to contract confirmation.
  • Building long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies and local businesses.
  • Conducting venue showrounds and presenting tailored event proposals.
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase repeat business and client retention.
  • Representing the venue at networking events, exhibitions and business forums.
  • Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Working closely with the Operations and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

About You

You'll be an energetic and confident sales professional with a passion for hospitality and events.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Previous experience in conference and events sales, hotel sales or venue sales.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and conducting venue tours.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
