Sales Manager

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at Peel Ports Logistics at our Humber Bulk Terminal and help us keep the world moving!
Your Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll drive commercial growth for the Humber Bulk Terminal while championing opportunities across our wider Northern network. You’ll work across diverse sectors, from bulk and agriculture to steel, aggregates, and project cargo, turning market insight into meaningful commercial wins.
As part of a collaborative commercial team, you’ll help shape innovative solutions that strengthen our position in the logistics market.
You’ll build strategic customer relationships, negotiate high-value agreements, and ensure service delivery consistently meets expectations. With the freedom to shape your own pipeline, and champion a diverse portfolio of services, you’ll make a real and visible impact from day one.

What You'll Bring
To thrive in this position, you’ll need significant frontline B2B sales and business development experience, with a proven ability to spot opportunities and convert them into commercial success. You’ll be confident engaging with customers at mid-to-senior level, skilled in negotiation, and commercially astute.
Experience within ports, logistics, shipping, or wider industrial sectors is essential, along with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management capability. Effective CRM use and pipeline management will be second nature to you.
You’ll also bring the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions, balancing competing priorities with strong organizational discipline. A self-motivated and driven mindset is essential, as is the confidence to operate independently. A full valid driving license is essential for this role.
